All Time Low Announces “The Spring Fever Tour 2013” with Pierce the Veil

All Time Low (those loveable pop-punk scamps from the Baltimore area) have announced a shiny new tour! It features support from Pierce the Veil, Mayday Parade and You Me At Six.

Titled the “Spring Fever Tour 2013” it kicks off April 11th in Ohio. Presale tickets will be available tomorrow (more information below). If you’re a fan of any of these bands you don’t want to miss out on this! Hit the jump for a full press release.

If you’re planning on going to the Maryland date I’d recommend getting your tickets as soon as they go on sale as it will be a hometown show for them. I’m going to be trying for a photo pass for the show!

Handguns and Forever Came Calling Split Release Tour

Handguns and Forever Came Calling are doing a short run of shows in November to support the release of their split, which is due out 11/8/11

Check out the tour dates below. Any DC Metro Area readers I better see you there

Featherweights Last Show. Ever

Feather weight is an emotive hardcore band from north of Boston. Being a band for two years, they’ve accomplished a lot, Northeast and Midwest tours, running a D.I.Y. venue out of front-man, Sean Ahern’s basement. Opening for bands like Touche Amore. Along with seriously caring about the people and music they surround themselves with.

Releasing at-least 13 tracks that are pure, emotional gold. One of the most hardworking bands I have ever known, many a time I’ve found myself trembling throughout their sets, everyone in the band screaming at the top of their lungs, bleeding, falling to the floor. Just seriously feeling what they do.

It will seriously be a sad day next Saturday, at the democracy center in Cambridge, Ma when these guys take the floor one last time, playing everything they have ever written, I’ve been told even a few covers.
They’ll be playing with the bands they are closest with.

All info for this show can be found by clicking on the show poster below.
I will be there shooting for all the bands except Featherweight: I want to enjoy their set to the fullest.

Pay What You Can Fest

Formerly known as No Fights Fest 4 this annual summer concert in Worcester, MA has been renamed to Pay What You Can Fest. You need to go to this. It’s July 30th and 31st and starts at noon each day. A message from the promoter (Greg McKillop) is below

I’m tired of overpriced local shows. These two days have a lot of kickass bands from both new england and all over the country.
It is technically a free show, if you want it to be, but we are asking for a $1-$10 dollar donation to help pay the touring bands. Please spread the word as much as you can, put the flyer up as your default picture, on your tumblrs, whatever.

No one will be turned away, but please try to pay what you CAN, not what you WANT. Support local music, lets prove this model can work. If you do not have any money, bring a bunch of friends. If they dont have money, bring even more friends, etc.

There are so many bands I can’t even list them here but you can check out the event page here and the show poster below. You do not want to miss this. I’ve attended two No Fights Fests and have loved every second of them. You need to go to this now.
