A Loss For Words releasing new acoustic EP

Some late breaking news (via Absolute Punk)

A Loss For Words will be releasing a new acoustic EP tomorrow (or today depending on when you’re reading this) called Return To Webster lake. A link to preorder/order it on iTunes can be found here. This is some very welcome news to me as A Loss For Words is a favorite band and Matty is insanely good acoustically (as their first acoustic EP showed). This EP will feature guest vocals from Taylor Jardine (of We Are The In Crowd) and Evan Pharmakis (formerly of Vanna) and an acoustic version of Hold Your Breath. The album art can be seen below.

Hit the jump for a track listing and a preview of the track Finite (feat. Taylor Jardine)

Transit Releases New Song/Video

Transit just put up a new song, “Long Lost Friends”, and a video of them playing the song in their Danvers, MA recording space. Definitely digging their new direction in sound and definitely think this’ll go down as one of my favorite Transit songs. The video can be found here via Rise Records’s Youtube page and the album drops October 4th.

And the video has a yellow Teletubbie roaming around in it, so it’s definitely worth the watch.

Glad to see that this was posted. I give Tim props for beating me to it, the video is below – Ethan

You know what you need to do? You need to put this song on repeat and then go see Transit and lose your shit when you see them live. I miss these dudes like nothing else.

Man Overboard debuts music video for Montrose

One of my favorite Man Overboard tunes Montrose now has a music video associated with it! Check it out below!

Misser posts new track

Misser is the side project of Tim Landers (Transit) and Brad Wiseman (This Time Next Year). Two amazing backing vocalists from two amazing bands. You need to get into Misser right now, you will not be disappointed. Check out their new track Just Say It below

All Stars Tour reveals promo

The All Stars Tour featuring Emmure and Alesana with support from iwrestledabearonce, blessthefall, For Today, In This Moment, Born Of Osiris, The Ghost Inside, After The Burial, Attila, For All Those Sleeping, Motionless In White, Chelsea Grin and Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire and a few other bands. To be completely honest the only band on there that I like is The Ghost Inside but the tour looks like to be a fun time. The promo video (including tour dates) is below. Maybe I’ll see some of you there.

Rebecca Black’s new single: My Moment

Looks like pre-teen popstar who really shouldn’t be a popstar has released her new single entitled My Moment. It’s all about how them haters who hated on her for Friday are all wrong and she’s just a normal girl and WON’T YOU JUST GIVE HER THE MOMENT SHE DESERVES. However it’s better than Friday. If you really want to watch it and possibly cause the apocalypse then look below. The video is so meta it’s not even funny and mixes footage from at least three different camera systems (I spied a RED One and what looks like a 7D) and yet it’s still in only 360p on YouTube.

When your music video shows you filming the music video (or another music video) things get a little bit goofy stupid. And her date looks far too young to be in a limo. Once I make it through the video fully without laughing I’ll write up a little breakdown/review.

On the plus side: it’s not Friday, it’s pretty decently produced and she can actually dance it seems.

There is actually very little to say about this song/video in a negative sense. Sure it’s a bit overautotuned but so isn’t everything these days. I might not like the pop genre but this has the makings of a solid pop song…even if it is done by Rebecca Black. And it’s self produced so you have to give the girl some credit.

The goofiness of the video is a little over the top though.

Paramore releases new music video for Monster

Paramore released a video for their song Monster, which is the first video after the departure of Josh and Zac Farrow. You can see it below. While I have not seen the new Transformers movie yet (in which this song is featured), I am guessing this is the only good thing in that movie.

New Blink-182 song Up All Night released

Want to listen to the brand new blink-182 song? Of course you do. You can listen to the track Up All Night below. It sounds a bit more like AvA than blink-182 but it’s worth a listen seeing how it’s their first new song in almost a decade.
